Georgia Reptile Encounters with Jason Clark
Join Oxbow's own Jason Clark as he shows us many of the reptiles indigenous to our area (and some that are not but whose coolness factor merit a closer look). Learn why his passion for reptiles is as entertaining as it is necessary. Touch a snake, a tortoise, an alligator. Celebrate the return of reptiles to Oxbow. Do not miss this event.

November Nature Walks!
By popular demand, our nature walks will, again, begin at 8 AM every Saturday!
FREE for adults and children 8 and older (accompanied by an adult).

Join CSU staff for a leisurely walk along the trails at the Oxbow Meadows Environmental Park. We will look at plants, birds and other wildlife. Beginners are welcome and encouraged.
Please wear sturdy shoes, long sleeved shirts, long trousers, sunglasses and a hat. The insects are ferocious - bring insect repellent. We will be in the sun - you will need sun screen.
Bring your field guide and binoculars. If you don't have them, we will provide loaners: Leupold Yosemite 6x30 binoculars and a variety of plant, mammal, reptile and amphibian field guides.
