Connect with nature through Adopt-a-Critter program

You can be a possum’s pal, a frog’s friend, a box turtle’s buddy or a corn snake’s chum. Select a critter you would like to “adopt” to sponsor for a year. . . a critter that makes you smile or touches your heart.

turtleWhy adopt?

Your donations to the Adopt-a-Critter program go directly to provide food, habitat, and health care for our animals.

Oxbow is a safe haven for many injured and non-releasable animals. They are used in educational programs that foster an understanding and appreciation of the natural world. Your generous donations support our efforts!

Benefits of adoption

  • An adoption certificate with your name and adopted critter’s name.
  • A color photo of your critter & information on its habitat, diet, and appearance.
  • Satisfaction of helping the wildlife at Oxbow!
  • Makes a great gift for any nature lover!
